The stage that makes or breaks riders was once again back in 2015. 

Cyclists left beautiful McLaren Vale and finished the day atop Willunga Hill, while thousands of passionate fans lined its slopes to cheer them on.

  • iiNet Sprint: The Esplanade, Snapper Point (near Butterworth Road) (2 sprints)
  • Powerade Hydration Station: Main Road, Willunga (at Kell Street)

McLaren Vale 

McLaren Vale is a favourite South Australian wine region less than an hour from Adelaide. It has more than 60 cellar doors producing great shiraz, grenache, cabernet sauvignon and chardonnay. McLaren Vale also has stunning beaches and magnificent food, and is an excellent starting point for a scenic drive through the Fleurieu Peninsula.

The Adelaide City Council Tour Village and Bike Expo can be found in the re-developed Victoria Square. In 2015 it will be bigger and better than ever, so make sure you're there to enjoy the atmosphere and check out the latest cycling gear.

Santos Festival of Cycling

Along with the world-class racing, visitors to the 2015 Santos Tour Down Under can enjoy an array of celebrations. These range from a free opening night concert on Saturday 17 January, through to the final day of racing on Sunday 25 January.
