The ŠKODA Breakaway Series incorporates the following recreational rides:

1. The Bupa Challenge Tour, presented by The Advertiser
The Bupa Challenge Tour on Friday 25 January 2013 is ideal for individuals or social, corporate and sporting teams looking for a ride with a difference. It’s your opportunity to ride a stage of a UCI WorldTour event, on the same day as the Pro Teams. It's a challenge - not a race. Part of the ŠKODA Breakaway Series, the Bupa Challenge Tour is for regular cyclists who can make the distance. Will you make it to the finish before the professionals arrive?

2. The Bupa Mini Tour for Kids, presented by UniSA
Kids aged 6-12 years - this is your opportunity to ride on a UCI WorldTour track, just like the world's cycling superheroes. On Sunday 27 January 2013 Bupa Mini Tour for kids participants will ride along the start/finish straight of the Stage 6 Adelaide Street Circuit, just a few hours before the world's elite cyclists race the final stage of the Santos Tour Down Under.
