The Adelaide City Council Tour Village and Bike Expo is a haven for cycling fans and in 2013 it will be bigger and better than ever before. The Village and Expo is a meeting place for cycling fans, an after work hang out, a place to catch up on the day's racing, to see interviews with cycling stars and maybe even get an autograph! Each day, there will be an entertainment program, showcasing cycling to the fans. Watch the team mechanics at work as they prepare the bikes for the upcoming stage. Catch the daily race highlights on the big screen and check out the range of sponsor displays. There is ample seating and a vibrant social atmosphere where you can grab a bite to eat or have a drink with your friends.

The bike expo is an interactive, engaging exhibition with the opportunity to test ride the latest bicycles around the streets of Adelaide, check out the latest cycling gear, get inspired and equip yourself like the pros.

ŠKODA Tour Parade on Track

A convoy of over 30 vehicles, the ŠKODA Tour Parade features the Santos Tour Down Under official mascot, Oppy the Kangaroo, and the six larger-than-life-sized vehicle-mounted torsos of each of the official Santos Tour Down Under race jerseys. People’s Choice Classic

This is your first chance to see the stars of the WorldTour take to Adelaide’s streets. The People's Choice Classic is a fast paced closed circuit road race, held as a preview to the Santos Tour Down Under. See the winning riders' jersey presentations after the race finish, at the Ochre Presentation Podium in Rymill Park.
Cycling South Australia – Santos Women’s Cup

People’s Choice Undies Run

Registered participants will run, walk or jog the 1.7km circuit in a branded pair of undies and t-shirt as they help save lives by increasing awareness for bowel cancer screening.

Mount Barker will make their Santos Tour Down Under debut today. Grab an autograph as the riders sign on from 10:00am. Racing will kick off at 11am as they head to Rostrevor for the finish. Don’t miss the ŠKODA King of the Mountain climb at Corkscrew Road.
Stage 2 Finish – Rostrevor (Campbelltown City Council)

Keep an eye out for Daisy (the Happy cow) around town, kids bring your bike to ride around the oval and for the adults there will be a bike ride along Kondoparinga Road. Take part in a petanque match and enjoy a BBQ breakfast. Riders are expected to come past 11:35am.
