Five-time Tour de France winner, Bernard Hinault made his debut appearance at the 2013 Santos Tour Down Under and joined a star-studded line-up at the Legends’ Night Dinner.
On Saturday 26 January hundreds of fans dined amongst cycling royalty and joined us in celebrating the cycling achievements and stories of three of the biggest names in world cycling - UCI Road Race World Champion Philippe Gilbert, 2010 Tour de France winner Andy Schleck and Australia’s golden girl of the track, Anna Meares.
Celebrating 15 years of the Santos Tour Down Under the Legends' Night Dinner has become a cycling social institution, honouring the world's cycling greats and letting fans share in the excitement and stories.
Guests enjoyed a three course meal and deluxe beverages and found out first-hand what is takes to excel on crucial stages of the world’s biggest bike races, heard tales from the best road cyclist in the world today and found out what goes behind winning Olympic gold.
