The Mutual Community Challenge Tour is the official recreational ride of the Santos Tour Down Under. Ride stage 4, departing only hours before the professional's official race start.

The Mutual Community Challenge Tour is ideal for individuals or social, corporate and sporting teams looking for a challenge with a difference.

It's a challenge - not a race. This event is for regular cyclists who can make the distance - will you make it to the finish before the professionals arrive?

*160.5km includes Santos Tour Down Under stage distance of 149.5km plus 11km race neutral distance. All prices are in Australian dollar and include GST.

Who can Enter

Individual cyclists and teams capable of riding their chosen distance
Mutual Community, MBF, HBA, UniSA and Cycling Australia members are entitled to the Members discount fee
Teams - Any cyclists can enter a team if they have five or more in their group.

Entry Includes

An exclusive Mutual Community Challenge Tour 2010 jersey. Team jerseys include team name printed on the back
Official Mutual Community Challenge Tour Ride Guide with course information to help you prepare
Medical support and some mechanical back up
Access to refreshments at checkpoints along the route and at the finish location
Lunch at the finish location

What do I need?

A mechanically sound bike
Australian approved helmet in good condition
Your own water bottles
A spare tube, pump, puncture repair kit (including tyre levers, Wet weather gear, sunscreen, photo ID and mobile phone or money for a phone call
You will need to supply your own security lock/chain, as this is NOT included in your registration. Event organisers will not be responsible for bikes or personal items left unattended
