The official recreational ride of the Santos Tour Down Under is held on Bupa Stage 4. Over the past four years, the Santos Tour Down Under has seen participant numbers explode, with the 2011 ride attracting 7512 riders. The Santos Tour Down Under, Bupa and Cancer Council are encouraging participants in the Bupa Challenge Tour to Ride for a Reason. Dedicate your ride to someone you know who has had or is currently battling cancer. Raise funds in their honour for Cancer Council. More information on Ride for a Reason
