Event jersey and ID tag collection
Each year a brand new jersey design is released for all registered Bupa Challenge Tour participants.
The jersey is worn by all participants of the Bupa Challenge Tour.
The 2017 jersey design
You are required to check in and collect your jersey and ID tag prior to the day from the Bupa Challenge Tour registration tent, located in the Adelaide City Council Tour Village (next to the big inflatable MAC bike).
Individual jersey and ID tag collection
Individual participants can collect their jersey and ID tag at any of the pre-event check-in sessions provided.
Individual jerseys, which have not been collected at one of the pre-event check-in sessions, can be collected at your nominated start location on ride day.
Team jersey and ID tag collection
A team representative must collect ALL the team jerseys and distribute them to each team member before commencing the ride.
Unless previously arranged in writing, team jerseys will NOT be available for collection on Thursday or the morning of the ride.
Bupa Challenge Tour ID Tag
You will receive an official ID tag at check in. This ID tag is not just your entry to the event; it provides us with vital information to be used in the event of an emergency. This tag is your unique identification in the case of an emergency. For this reason, your ID tag is NOT transferable and MUST be clearly visible at all times while you are on the ride.
Using someone else’s tag compromises our ability to render assistance in the case of an emergency.
Your official ID Tag will also record your ride time.
No Jersey & ID Tag, No Ride!
Participants must display their ID tags and wear the official jersey. Failure to display your ID tag and event jersey will exclude you from entering the refreshment stops, closed roads and render you ineligible to ride underneath the official finish arch, where your ride finish time is recorded.
