Stage 1 - Mawson Lakes
Come and join in the great atmosphere of the official start of the 2007 Tour Down
Under. Talk to the riders, ask for autographs, check out the team bikes and enjoy the atmosphere of European Style bike racing at Mawson Lakes.
There will be amateur and Junior Bike races from 9am so come early to enjoy the fast paced atmosphere.
Look out for the Delfin Car at the Tour Down Under to get your duck for the Delfin Duck
Derby. Register your duck for the Delfin Duck Derby at the Mawson Lakes Sales and Information Centre before 5.30pm on Sunday 21 January.

Stage 2 - Mannum
Top Australian band, the Black Sorrows featuring Joe Camilleri will be the major act at Mannum's Tour Down Under two day festival by the River with PS Marion Cruises, cycling demonstrations and food//trade stalls commencing at 12 noon on Wednesday 17th January at Mary Ann Reserve and will conclude with a Celebrity Race and live music entertainment following the Stage two start on Thursday 18 January.

- Food/Trade stalls and amusements
- Live Music will be conducted at Mary Ann Reserve from 2.30 p.m.
- Live entertainment with the Black Sorrows featuring Joe Camilleri appearing at 7.30 p.m. at Mary Ann Reserve - Gold Coin Donation entry

- Cycling promotional races at Mary Ann Reserve from 1.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.
Thursday 18 January from 7.30 A.M.
- Alfresco Breakfast in Shearer Car Park and Mary Ann Reserve from 7.30 p.m.
- Cyclists and parade cars arrive at 9.45 a.m.
- Indigenous Welcome to Country
- Blessing of the Cyclists
- National Anthem performed by Mannum Community College students

- Cyclists depart at 11.00 a.m. from Randell Street
- Celebrity Race at 11.30 a.m. encompassing same closed area as support cycling races on Wednesday Randell Street and Mary Ann Reserve

Stage 3 - Stirling

20,000 to celebrate at Stirling Street Carnival
The charming Stirling precinct in the Adelaide Hills will transform into South Australia’s biggest Street Carnival to celebrate the Tour Down Under on 18 January 2007.
More than 20,000 people are expected to participate in the local community festivities on Mount Barker Road in Stirling and indulge in the atmosphere of the iconic international racing event.
The precinct will provide a feast of local food and gourmet delights and free entertainment including street performers, live bands, face painting and dedicated entertainment areas for kids and teenagers.
Other attractions include hills market stalls, farm animals, rock climbing wall, a jumping castle, a Merry-Go-Round and bike demonstrations.

When: Thursday 18 January 2007, 6 – 10pm
Cost: Free entry
The celebrations won’t end on the night, however. Mount Barker Road will again be a wash of colour and excitement as Stage 3 of the Tour Down Under leaves Stirling at 11am on Friday 19 January. Stirling cafes will be serving up a big breakfast before the Stage 3 start and the Mutual Community Challenge Tour will also leave Stirling at 7am.
