The 2007 Tour Down Under is set to be the biggest yet, with a brilliant blend of new events allowing more people than ever to ‘feel the rush’ of cycling. Launching the 2007 Tour Down Under today, Tourism Minister Jane Lomax-Smith says a new 20km Fun Tour for families and a Night of Stars event at the Adelaide Super-Drome will be added to the event program. 2 tickets to The Legends' Night Dinner - Cycling's night of nights. Held at the Hilton Adelaide which offers an insight into the lives of some of the world's most famous stars of the peleton. A selection of the world's most celebrated cyclists as well as renowned Australian riders will be interviewed on stage before taking questions from the floor. It's a night of top entertainment, and this years legend to be honoured is Bjarne Riis, 1996 Tour de France winner and Team CSC owner and manager.
2 entries into the Mutual Community Fun Tour. Dust off your bike, it's time to get riding. The Mutual Community Fun Tour on Sunday 21 January offers first time and casual riders the opportunity to ride part of the Tour Down Under official circuit.
