Sunday 21 January

Enjoy cycling but tired of riding the same route? Or maybe you just want to get active but don’t know where to start? Here’s your excuse. Dust off your bike, it’s time to get riding. The Mutual Community Fun Tour on Sunday 21 January 2007 offers first time and casual riders the opportunity to ride part of the Tour Down Under.

Your 20.5 kilometre Stage 5 City Circuit begins in Barratt Reserve in West Beach. Barratt Reserve offers plenty of parking as well as access to some of Adelaide’s great beaches.

Your police-escorted ride will take you along Anzac Highway at a leisurely pace into the Stage 5 City Circuit. You will then have the exclusive opportunity of completing one lap of the closed circuit before the professionals arrive.

Finally, you’ll ride through the official 2007 Tour Down Under finishing arch. Then park your bike in the racks provided in Elder Park, grab some lunch and watch the professionals as they power through the city.

Why not register your family or a group of friends today and experience the fun of cycling?

Cyclists of all shapes and ages are welcome to join the Mutual Community Fun Tour.

Children 0 – 7 years must share a bike with an adult. Children 8 – 14 years can ride their own bike, however they must be accompanied by an adult during the event and participants 15 – 17 years can ride on their own with appropriate consent from their guardian.
